Shark Week North Carolina

Twenty three miles off the town of Oak Island,12 year old  Xan Evans of
South Brunswick Middle School fights this monster of a lemon shark assisted by father, Captain Mark Register of Playin’ Hooky Fishing Charters who runs out of Southport, NC. This giant was hooked on a grouper bait.  The shark weighted over four hundred pounds and exceeded lengths of a stunning eight feet. The fishermen fought for forty-five minutes until it was decided that the shark should be released back to his salty lair in Atlantic Ocean. We love shark week!
